    Most future-proof PSU?

    Hey guys.
I'm about to build a computer system for my brother. However, he doesn't have enough money for everything now, but wants to buy some bits now (Can't talk him into just saving up and buying everything at once later on!! lol).
I just wondered what the best PSU would be to buy, to avoid running into probs later on (it'll be a pretty high spec machine).
My budget is between £30 and £50.
    Any ideas? :s

    Re: Most future-proof PSU?

Get a good branded power supply, corsair for example.

Decide if you want modular (easier for cable management).

Finally, decide how much power you want. 500W is powerful enough for a high spec rig, but if you are looking into SLI and Crossfire then you might need to up it a bit .

Also, there's no point spending hundreds of £££'s on a new build and scrimping on the power supply - one of the most important components.

Since you seem to be on a small budget an Xclio PSU seems fitting, they are pretty good PSU without a doubt and they are pretty silent from reviews(mine isnt loud nor quiet though). I have the 700w but they do a 650w for ~£55 and a 800W for like 70.
