    how can i adjust the fan speed?

    my computer sound really loud. i wanna try turn down the fan speed to see if it make any different.i have a evga 680sli motherboard.

    which fan (CPU HSF, nb fan, case fan, gfx card fan) is it though that is noisy?

    What motherboard do you have, and assuming the fan is plugged into the motherboard, you might be able to set the bios to control its speed.

    Not all motherboards work with speedfan.
    And I'm happy with BIOS setting of "quiet"

    This should help. I personally recommend setting all fans to 7V.
    Some fans can't run at 5V, particularly those cheap one.

    i have the evga 790 motherboard and yes all my fan is plug on the motherboard. can you show me how to adjust it in the bios?

    sorry i got mix up for this thread i'm talking about the evga 680 se that i have. but also i have another computer that run an evga 790 than i want to adjust the fan aslo. thank you

    unless someone here has that mobo you are probably better off posting on eVGA's own support forum for precise BIOS info.
