    Angry setting up tv tuner

    hi all,am trying to set up the tv tuner for the media centre but am not getting any service.
    any ideas?

    plug in aerial? sure its connected properly? try it on a tv first .

    Try plugging it into the main TV aerial in the house (not the small aerials that are usually packaged with them.) Do this for the initial scan to add the channels, then you can **usually** get away with using the small aerial for watching the channels (depending where you are, and the quality of said aerial.)

    yea,i was trying to use the satellite box as an aerial.i dont have an independent outside aerial.
    can this not work somehow?if not what else can i try?
