    Recommend me a modem

    Alright, so I just need a bog standard broadband modem for my 360, no wireless etc. needed, won't need more than 2 Ethernet ports.Cheap as possible!

    Yeah but my router will very soon be too far away from my 360 for me to plug it in, so I'll need another one just for the 360

    won't having 2 modems on the 1 telephone line cause problems?
    can't you just run a long Cat5 or Cat6 cable?

    You can't have 2 modems on the same line - so if you're planning that approach it wont work

    Yep, basically plug one end the modem/router and the other into the xbox 360. Normally the speed will be fine, but it is somewhat dependent on the quality and age of the electric wiring in the house.

    You might find them cheaper though if you look around on ebay. I found my 85mbps twin pack for £25 on ebay more then a year ago
