    keyboard*and*mouse*not*working*on*PS2*connection

    Having*to*use*Character*Map*to*type*this.*My*keyboard and mouse*stop*working*in*the*PS2 connection*about*a*minute*after*startup,*they're*still*getting*power,*but*not*responding.*The*mouse* works*in*USB,*I*don't*have*a*USB*keyboard*though.*Please*help!

    Try connecting them to a different computer and see if they work, also try using the onscreen keyboard its easier to use than char map

    its in Start -> Accessories -> Accessibility

    Ok, that's really weird, I just brought up the on screen keyboard and used it, and the physical one started working again, so thanks a lot for that.

    In that case it sounds like Windows is foobared rather than your hardware.

    Probably a stupid question, but what's foobared? I've not done anything to Windows or downloaded any programs recently, so I've got no idea what's causing it. Also, the keyboard didn't need to have the on screen one used time it hasn't stopped responding since I started the computer this time, but the Starup problems are really worrying.
