Hotmail page loading issue

Using firefox at the moment but this happens with IE as well. Logged onto msn ok just now and clicked to look at my emails. But instead of seeing the hotmail page i got this:

Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at g.msn.com.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

It was all ok last night and I have just logged on to msn on the home pc and got to my emails no problem.

All other pages load ok so i'm lost as to why it says server can not be found. This problem is happening on my laptop which is connected via a wireless router.

Any ideas???

Just went to the main msn site and could log on to hotmail there, but still can't access it directly from the msn program directly.

Try resetting whatever form of internet connection you use and try clearing cache or something.

I have re powered the modem and router, also cleared the cache on my laptop. Problem is only on my laptop not the home pc. And as I just posted above I can go to uk msn site and get to my hotmail ok. Plus nothing has changed in my settings at all, and it was ok when i switched my laptop off last night.

Hmmm just set IE as default and it will load the hotmail page.

edit: same happens on my sisters lap top and she is also using firefox to access hotmail via the msn program. I just updated my firefox but still the same problem (and we are both using vista not sure if that makes any difference- home pc is xp)

I hade teh same thing, tried to get in via hotmail.

Maybe it was an actual problem with Hotmail then although I have no problems with wireless or ADSL networks at home today.
