I've got a similar situation, the NAS didn't accepted my password. The solution is simple: Connect the NAS to your PC via USB and delete all the partitions on the NAS' hard disk. You can use either the windows disk management tool (Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management) or any other partition management software (for example Paragon Partition Manager). This maneuver erases all the datas on your NAS' hard disk, so you can start the initilalization again.

Upgrading NAS' firmware to 2.6.3.1 is also recommended, because NAS with 2.6.3 often forgets the admin's password and don't let you log in to the webadmin interface. You can download the latest version from the raidsonic.de site.
