    Exclamation abit drivers?

wow, is there actually a technically support at ABIT? i am still on hold with an expected wait time of up to 20 minutes which its been over 40 MINS and counting... the call waiting finally cut me off somewhere around 52 minutes and forced me to leave a message, i do hope using this forum with heed much better results..l.

i'm trying to install windows 7 and i'm getting the run around from everyone. the error i continually receive during the install is:
"A required CD/DVD device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVDm or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note. If the windows installation media is in the drive, you can safely remove it for this step"

i spent an hour with microsoft until they said my hard disk needed to be updated so they advised me to contact the manufacturer of my hard disk. so i called maxtor and they said its my motherboard. so here i am now, trying to figure out what/how to update this to hopefully fix the problem. i do not know exactly what update driver i'm looking for so if anyone could help that would be great
