    VPN Endpoint for Home connection

I've a Netgear DG834G (v3) as my router, can anyone recommend a VPN Endpoint that I can hook up and connect to using a Mac/Win7 client?

Basically I'd like to join my home network (via VPN) from out and about. I'd like to do so via Client so that I'm not restricted, not via another end point.

I've considered a cheap second hand NetGear FSV114 but I'm not convinced it's right for me, and if it is the client costs extra and doesnt work with Win 7 apparently.........

Why not use built in VPN server in any Windows starting at XP?

Re: VPN Endpoint for Home connection

Open VPN means having a(nother) machine
Built in means leaving a specific computer on

Would prefer a small end point sat next to my routay

I suppose If I go Sonicwall TZ100 etc I could ditch my Netgear...

Hmm, maybe I could integrate OpenVPN and DD-WRT on an old WNR834b
