How do you repair fading letters on a keyboard?

I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this as some keys on my keyboard are starting to fade, "A" and "S". I guess it suffers from fps usage. That or someone has an obsession for typing ass on my keyboard.

I put 4 little pieces of sticky tape over my WASD keys to give them a different texture and make them easier to find..

    Maybe you could do that?

Re: How do you repair fading letters on a keyboard?

Every keyboard my mum has ever owned has key letters that fastly fade away. I think it must be due to her smoking at her PC. What she does is buy alphabet packs from hobby craft shops and sticks them onto the faded keys.

Buy a more expensive keyboard with lazer etched keys.

Tried ringing MS? See if they can delve into their HUGE profit margins and send you out a couple of new keys?

Hahaha! Who am I kidding? Not a chance! They might do it for a small charge though.

Re: How do you repair fading letters on a keyboard?

Why do you need to read the letters on the keyboard?

If you use them often enough, youll naturally find them.

As for why A and S are fading the most, maybe its where your fingers rest when youre not typing? the nasty oils and enzymes in your skin disolve the plastic over time.
