    Sony X10 mini pro and warranty info

    Long story short my phone is not holding a charge anymore, i get about 2 hours standby before it dies! pretty ticked of as it is only a few months old. There is a problem though, sony want the proof of purchase to prove the phone is in warranty (hold on has this phone been out for a year? no) and oddly enough i dont have any proof of purchase! it was a gift from my mum and she threw away all reciepts for it lol

    So anyone had any expereince with sony and there repair center and so on? thanks!

    razer try picking up a replacement battery from the bay mate.

    Have sused sony repair before they are not too bad mate but yeah proof of purchase essential.

    Did your mum pay for it on a credit/debit card, if so you could just send/email a copy of the statement as proof of purchase.

    It's ok! mum got it from a catelog and jsut happens to have it in her emails, thank god for that. Also i spoke to anouther chap on the SE web chat service and her said as the phone isnt a year old they shouldnt need to get a proof of purchase.

    Ive also decided im going to drain the battery completely then recharge and see what happens!
