    power supply Question

    Hello everyone , I don't know if my current PSU is o.k for running the system I'm building. The PSU is a thermaltake 420w and the system is:
    Asus M4N75TD Motherboard
    Corsair DDR3 4GB
    2x 160GB HDD
    eVGA GeForceGTX 460 SE Graphics card
    PhenomII Quad core 3.4GHz 125w CPU
    ACf7pro CPU Fan
    2 x 120mm Fans

    Depends how old the PSU is. If >3yrs, get a new one.

    The best way to tell if your PSU will power all your kit is to use a PSU Calculator.

    This will show you exactly what your PC uses at normal or high load. I still recommend reading the following guide to see if your current PSU will need replacing soon.

    It is about 5yrs old so will probably get a new one thanks

    Thanks for the calculator it was very useful. It would seem I do need a new P.S.U thanks for your help.
