    Ata100 hdd

    Hello,

I've got a 2.5 ATA100 HDD out of a broken Laptop I would like to get some data off.
Is it possible to some how get an adapter so I can connect it to my desktop via SATA?
I've had a google but I can't seem to find any thing. I was also considering a USB enclsoure, but can't seem to find an ATA100 one.

    Am I missing something?

Something like this claims to support it via USB.

This would do it, wouldn't it? Enclosure takes an IDE drive and then connect via USB.

Yeah all of those would work, in fact I have an external casing that fits. . . .

I couldn't work out why none of the pictures looked like they would fit the HDD. I had another look today and there is an adaptor on the IDE pins, I prised it off and there was the usual ATA connector pins.

Guess it was too late last night.
