    A reinstall should fix it then - as long as you don't reformat as part of the install windows should keep everything and just reinstall the main files and setup the main account.

    There isn't an option to NOT reformat, it formats the entire drive, deletes/creates partitions etc

    Home server 2011 (Vail) (I gave up on the server idea as the machine had a load of issues with virtual machines and I don't have the time or the patience to fix them)
