    Cables for SSD Drive

    Hello all,

I recently purchased a Crucial M4 64GB SSD. I have the following parts:

    • Motherboard: GA-MA770-UD3
    • PSU: Corsair 450W HX Series Modular PSU

What type of SATA cable should I get? What type of power cable should I get? If you don't know, do you know how I can find out what cables I need?

    Thank you,
    Varmint

It will take the normal sata data and power connectors as a hard drive - if you are removing a sata hard drive you will be able to use the existing cables.

If you are adding rather than replacing check if you have a spare sata power connector from the psu - will look like this:

Your mother board is sata2 so a data cable like this will do for 99p delviered:

If you don't have a spare sata power cable, adapters are readily available for cheap, for example:

That's simply called a sata power connector.
