hi my sister has just bought an Asus X54H Laptop it shuts down while being used, the screen goes fuzzy then goes off, after switching it back on it is ok for a few hours?
it has win 7 64bit intel i3 4gb ram and a 500hhd
please advise if i have to list other components

Could be a problem with broken fan and overheated CPU. Maybe open the case up and see if you can clean the dust around the fan area?
Have to agree with this, there is no need to open it up and have a mess about with things inside, Laptop's are messy things to be dealing with and trying to fix. If it's in warranty just return, isn't worth the effortOriginally Posted by GoNz0
