    Interesting Windows 8 issue

When I run Windows 8, my Blu-Ray writer starts sounding like an empty floppy drive reading. Interestingly, it is fine in Windows 7. The noise happens in both the CP and the RP releases of Windows 8. Does anyone have any ideas?

Only thing I can guess is a driver issue and the os is issuing a command that the drive disagrees with.

I would write a report to Microsoft, probably will resolve it's self for release but sometimes they do get back to you. I did have some feedback from them in the past.
