New cpu cannot get past manufacturer screen

Hey guys sold my i5 cpu a few weeks back as it was overkill
Ended up buying a g530 for my h61 Asus motherboard
But crazy thing is it just keeps rebooting like a loop I have the most up to date bios I can get into the bios settings if I'm quick enough.
    I've pulled the mobile battery
    I'm pulling my hair out!!!!!

You will most likely have to re-install windows. But have you tried using startup repair?

so all you have changed is the CPU from an i5 to a celeron G530?

you shouldnt need to reinstall windows atall.

all i've done with CPU changes is load up the BIOS, scroll along the top to the last page, then choose reset to defaults.

sounds like yours is still set to the speeds and timings of the i5, a reset should sort it.

if you cant get into the bios, then theres a reset procedure involving jumpers, battery removal and things (im not sure what it is, but others here know what it is)
