Hot Swap Bay on Corsair 650D stopped working??

Hiya - I have a problem with the hot swap bay on my Corsair 650D Case.

I had it set up and working absolutely perfect for about 4 months but just recently it appears to have stopped working and gives me a Blue Screen with "KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR" every time I attempt to use it.

I have everything set up to allow hot-swapping in the bios, I have disabled all the other Sata ports and simply enabled the one that uses the hot swap bay - still the same problem.
I have then swapped cables and different sata ports but still the same problem.

Funny thing is I can actually eject a hard drive from the hot swap bay while the computer is on but as soon as I insert a drive and I hear the PC start reading it I get the blue screen of death.

Would this point towards a faulty motherboard (doubtful if I have tested most of the ports with the same outcome) or a fault with the actual hot swap bay in the case??

    Thoughts, experience please??

Sounds to me it's more likely a driver update than a motherboard problem, but its always worth flashing the bios to the latest version if and when problems happen.

What has changed in the weeks running up to problems happening?

Have you tested the hard drives in other computers, or plugged in internally? do they function?

Thanks for getting back to me - I will check the Asus website and see if they have an updated bios.

The hard drives work just fine - at the moment what I do is unplug the drive I want to hot swap (with the pc running) and then power off the pc and insert the other hard drive and restart the computer.
