    Home Cabling Help!

    Hello.

I am installing a Cat5e cable on my home network.

My plan is to install two backboxes both with an RJ45 module on each end of the one Cat5e cable.

My home PC will plug into one outlet using a 2M patch cable and other end will plug into my router using a 2M patch lead.

I would like to know if this method will work as I am planning on doing this tomorrow!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

yes it will work but you may as well run 2 cables as you never know!
