    Fan speed or lack of

    I have a Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 2 running on a Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 intel 1155

    so naturally I'm trying to overclock, but I'm having issues with the fan speeds, ie it does not seem to increase, when trying the OC software

    it only seems to run at 600rpm, I also had to turn the rpm alarm off in the bios

    any help is greatly appreciated, if more info is required let me know

    Sounds like you have set you fans to run in silent mode.

    Edit:
    Check you BIOS settings for fan settings.

    ok just checked, Its set to normal, other options were silent, manual, and disabled, but defo set to normal
