    Keyboard lag on ACER laptop.....

    I am experiencing what Ive seen called keyboard lag ...where as I type some of the letters are not registering and makes what I just typed out look like jibberish.....some sites it seems not to do it on.....but some do,especially when Im typing in google search etc.....its like Im typing to fast fo my computer to keep up......but hen stops and only does it on several ocasions in thecoursae of a night,but not constantly...as I type this it seems to be fine and normal!! lease advise on any possibilities and fixes thanks in advance!! I am using an acer aspire runing windows vista .....Rob

    Well the only time I experience this is when my CPU is on full load. As you said, on some sites it doesn't do that but on others it does. So I'm kind of guessing that it might be a problem with your CPU, you might want to list the specifications of your laptop by the way. Also get a widget for your desktop that displays RAM and CPU usage. And check out the readings each time the anomaly happens.

    Input lag may be caused by one or many problems. It could be that CPU utilization just hit around 100% or RAM usage is maxed out or both. You should probably check the percentages each time this happens through either task manager or open up a widget that shows just that or some other program around the net. If that's the case then you should eliminate all non-necessary background applications (most of them, you'll see in the task bar).

    If all else is good and this still happens, it could probably be a virus.
