eh? mouse wheel not scrollin'

well, i was playing some battlefield vietnam and my comp crashed, restarted it and now my mouse wheel (ms intellimouse v4) wont scroll.. it clicks fine and i can do that scroll thing, but up/down scrolling just doesnt happen..

wtf has happened? i checked the settings and they are set to 'enable vertical scrolling...' mmm any ideas chaps?


edit unplugged mouse, plugged in again, voila problem solved...
