    Hanging at BIOS screen.

    i7 4770k
    16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance
    Asrock Extreme 6

I'm currently running the above, have been for around 20 months now with no issues what so ever. Yesterday, I decided to restart my PC and then was hit with a sudden freeze on the BIOS screen although once powered off and on It worked pretty much instantly. No further issues, It seems to boot up first time, every time apart from when I restart the system it just hangs on the BIOS screen.

Anyone have any clue as to why this might be happening?

Have you run a BIOS update? Do you have an old bios you can flash to?

Same thoughts as IK9k. Seems to be software related. Any recent changes - BIOS mainly or some firmwares?

    Re: Hanging at BIOS screen.

Haven't touched the bios since purchase, It's overclocked by the guys who built it so I've not touched it. Nothing is new other than a graphics card?

    Re: Hanging at BIOS screen.

Unplug all your USB devices and try again - you wouldn't believe how many can cause BIOS hanging if one starts playing up.

    Re: Hanging at BIOS screen.

If that's the case and it solves the issue, could it be a usb port problem or the device that's connected?
