Monitor black boarder annoyance

I recently purchased a VN247H monitor from Asus -

After installing my GPU -

I now have 4 black boarders around my screen. Is this normal (1st time builder) practice here? Before installing I had all space populated. Now I can't seem to find an option to increase it.

I would like to know if there are any settings in the community or in the product itself to give me full screen viewing again.

Is there an "Auto" button on the monitor, this will generally bring everything back to as it should be. Unless the desktop resolution has changed.

I think I've already replied to you on another platform, but the first thing to try would be the aspect control on the monitor's OSD menu.

To change the resolution on your desktop, just right click anywhere on the desktop then click on Screen Resolution and make sure it matches your monitors native resolution which should be 1920x1080.

Thanks guys for the help. At the end of the day it was all due to the installation of the AMD Catalyst Control Centre. Just maxing the Scaling Options to 100% to Overscan fixed it.
