Has anyone ever removed the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software and then found they can't reinstall it properly? I've managed to get the driver installed (manually), but I can't seem to get the GUI software installed. The Intel RST setup loads and finishes in seconds saying it's complete, but I know it's not!
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Have you tried rolling back to a previous restore point?
Create a new restore point before rolling back so you can return if you need to.
I rolled back to a restore point from a couple of days ago and now my PC is running extremely slow! The RST drivers along with the GUI are back and running though. Guess i'll just reinstall all device drivers and run a couple of scans & updates and see how it goes
I have just been going through a long but really interesting trouble shooting process with my PC and have learnt how to make better use of some amazing tools that are built into Windows. I think you might find the thread to be quite useful. I have linked to the point where it gets quite juicy, as you'll see, satrow has been amazing with his advice and really patient too.
As well as looking at the suggestions mentioned in the link above, take a look at the following utilities:
System Information under Hardware Resource - Conflicts/Sharing and under Components - Problem Devices
