    Exclamation Free burnng software!?

Hi, I need a big favour here guys please. Does any of you know where i can download a completely free(without'pay £30 to remove this from your burn" kinda thing) that will convert my movies which has been imported with movie maker(I could use something better if you have any suggestions) and then be able to burn them to dvd using my NEC 3500. Thanks very much for any help asap (oh and does anybody know of any free dvd playback software thanks, sorry i'm really cheap!) Thank,John.

Edit: why on earth would this not post with dvd in the title? when i took dvd out (it was free dvd burning software) it posted, weird

Sometimes its worthwhile paying for the licences with this type of software. To convert and burn my vid cam avi files I use Nerovision 2. It lets you edit the file to get it to fit onto a dvd and does the conversion without you having to do anything at all except adding the file and clicking next a few times. Only downside is that if I have a 90 min vidcam tape that is full it can take around 3 hours to convert it to dvd format and it really hogs system resources. Cant play any games and it takes longer for the web browser to open etc.

    Lightbulb

You can pick up a vanilla edition of Nero 6 for less than £5. Have a look HERE. That will be better than any freeware. But if you really can't part with a couple of quid, have a look on www.downloads.com or www.tucows.com.

How can I actually burn the dvd video onto the dvd using deepburner or cd burner pro so it can be watched on a stand alone home dvd player. I have got the video off the digital camera using movie maker and i have 13gbs of it, how do i actually burn the clip onto a dvd rather than the data like i just have done. Thanks

Do you mean to backup movie DVD's? (legally of course).

No, I mean take the clips off my digital camera and import them into windows movie maker. I took your advice Ferral and Dom, I have bought this to convert my digicam clips and then burn them: Nero 6 dc and dvd burner and vision express 2. Thanks Guys
