    Re: PC not booting...

    From what you've posted, no... you need to give a lot more information.

    Have you built a lot of computers from parts before?
    What parts do you have?
    Does the LED on the motherboard come on?
    Do any fans spin on the PSU, CPU cooler, GPU or elsewhere?
    Any monitor output? Does the monitor come out of powersave mode?
    Have you tried reseating all the components? e.g. remove and re-insert the memory.

    In summary, either you made a mistake or a component is faulty. It's most likely you made a mistake! Sorry.

    (Edit) Actually, not sorry! If you made a mistake, you can probably fix it and get it working, which is a much better outcome than a faulty component. Good luck!

    Check that you have plugged the case power switch into the correct pins on the motherboard header. It is very easy to either use the wrong pins, or plug it in so one pin isn't connected.

    Nice build btw

    Re: PC not booting...

    Thanks ! actually i realized i didnt plugin the power sw at all

    i dont really know where to plug those cables now (Power SW, HDD led, Power led)

    first are the led cables compulsory?

    i'm confused, do I have to plug those on the yellow or black panel?

    Re: PC not booting...

    LEDs aren't compulsory, just indicate power is on and drive activity. They are the only plugs that are polarity conscious, but even if you plug them in the wrong way round, it won't do any harm. But quite OK to leave them off.

    Re: PC not booting...

    There is usually a diagram in the motherboard manual showing an enlarged view of each connector, and a list of what should be attached to it.

    I think you should read your manual. I found it online and it looks like the front panel connector pins are next to the RAM and the big ATX power connector. They look like a yellow base in one of your photos. See green circle 6 on this page :-
    http://www.manualslib.com/manual/547...page=10#manual

    And this page has the full explanation of what all the pins are for :-

    Re: PC not booting...

    Take a picture of what you have connected and where to, doing it like this will be next to impossible to help in any short amount of time.

    Re: PC not booting...

    I'm out of ideas.

    If the following are all plugged in, I think you should really at least get spinning fans :

    * 4-pin 12V power
    * 24-pin ATX power
    * Front panel reset/power switch

    If you have an external speaker in the case, connect it to the motherboard (black pins next to the front-panel connector), because there's a chance of some diagnostic beeps that indicate a problem.

    Best thing to do is methodically check everything again from the beginning and re-read the steps in the manual.

    Re: PC not booting...

    You need to check what the others have said, but one other thing - when you fitted the motherboard to the case, did you only put the case mounts where there are corresponding fixing holes in the mobo, as any extra ones could cause a short and prevent starting.

    Re: PC not booting...

    As Peter Parker implies, it's really hard for us to check you've got the basics right with what you're showing.

    I'd suggest the same thing - start over and follow the manual this time. What might be helpful for a first build is to actually build it outside of the case for now - you can build it up slowly checking each stage (and it's easier for us to see what's connected to what outside of the case). Once you've got it working outside, you can partially disassemble to get it back in the case, starting from a point you know is working.
