Weird DL speed problem new build PC

Just built my computer however the download speed will not go beyond 200-400kbps and cuts out. However on my phone in the same place and distance from BT homehub 5 I get 3-6mb/s. I have tried installing drivers switched between an ASUS PCE N15 Network card and two different models of belkin USB dongles. I have Asus H81m plus M-Board and a GTX 960 GPU. There's lots of similar problems on the internet people have tried to switch to 5ghz and delete AMD speed application but I don't have any AMD installed its really frustrating. Anything similar happened to you.

I have now since plugged in an ethernet cable to the router but it caps out at 3.4mb/s.
