Monitor color problems

Samsung SyncMaster 750s, Manufacture Feb 2001

After playing video fullscreen for about 20mins or more then exiting to desktop the color is about 30% washed out/messed up, turning the monitor on and off fixes it but I want a real fix... maybe degaussing, how often should I degauss?

Problem solved, every time I swivel it 180 degrees the color is messed, turning on/off insta fixes.
