The notification volume is always loud and isn't affected by any changes to its slider in the volume mixer thing. Has anyone else experienced this? The person who posts a fix will be given a steam key for no man's sky(not really but I would really appreciate it).

But, what about turning all Window's sounds off? i.e. choosing the "No Sounds" sound scheme.
I personally prefer no sounds.
I just installed the anniversary update and the bug seems to have been squashed.
@ddy that would be a bit much as I like my audio cues here and there.

Right click the icon bottom right and select quiet hours and it silences it completely, it still goes white when you get a notification
