I recently signed up, and i've not been able to access my own profile page. I have verified my email address and I have been trying to post on the forums, but all my posts are currently awaiting moderator confirmation. Hopefully this is a temporary thing I was looking to take advantage of the free scan delivery while also being able to contribute to the community I hope it registers all my posts.

It is a temporary thing.

It's a bit annoying for a small proportion of new members but some get caught by our anti-spammer precautions. Generally, they work well but we do get a few false positives, and you drew the short straw. Aren't you lucky?

I've approved the posts that were held and will sort the anti-spammer thing in a moment. The permission thing sorts itself after a few posts anyway, though some features only open uo after more posts. There's a guide if you search, pr read the FAQ.


As for Scan delivery, well, be a bit careful. That's supposed to be for regular active forum members, and Scan can apply it st their discretion. We get a LOT than sign up, post the minimum number if times to qualify then stop. That's not what the offer is meant to be and Scan can, and sometimes do, withdraw it in those circumstances.

Having gone to sort out your anti-spammer issue, it looks like Peterb did it while I was typing. Two admins for the price of one.
