That's it, I am giving up
tried following the instructions and never got pass part 3, can't create a ms dos boot drive.
keep getting error message. Error: could not copy file to target drive.

Told my mate he can have my spare H61 board to get him by until he is ready to upgrade.

I thought you flashed the BIOS? A BIOS flash is a BIOS flash, doing it by another method won't help.

You kept going beyond the point I would have given up. No shame there.

quick update: still chasing this.
Decided to clean and used wd40 on the board. (got mates oked before I did this as I told him he can use by board anyway)
after cleaning all 4 ram slots are now working.

New headache. the board will post with my i3 but won't when I try his i5.
Cpu led will stay on suggesting no cpu or cpu error.
Bios is lastest from Asus.

Any thoughts?
