I have a cheap generic USB to MIDI lead that worked with Win 7 but since I updated to Win 10 this week. Now have noticed that it no longer works, with a message from windows that it is not recognised.
I think this may have something to do with MIDI support in Windows 10, but even after a day on Google I'm none the wiser.
Any help is of course most welcome.
I have found a kind of fix. the dongle works fine in a USB 2.0 port and not a 3.0 port.
Its something to do with the standards and how things are not always backwards compatible.
