Sad to see you leaving
Me too, but I just don't enjoy the site in the way that I have over the years - there's been a marked change especially over the last 3 or 4 years and I've always had a policy that when something ceases to be fun and starts to be a strain I should walk away. It feels like now is the right time for me and Hexus to part ways.
Also: it seems that the email with the code came through about 10 mins after clicking the link, so I'll sort this when I get up in the morn.
Take care fella, I wish you well!
Really sorry to see you go - you seem to have been part of the community for ever. (In fact you joined before me)
Best wishes for the future though.

I wish everyone here all the best, it's been generally a great place to hang out, but it's just not for me any more.
How do you get that confirmation code? I cant find it?
As a former admin here, more or less from the site's inception until a year or two back, I didn't even know there was one. As far as I was aware, it would be done manually though for an account that doesn't appear to have been used for about 12 years, I'm not sure I see why it's worth bothering. Unless, of course, it's a secondary account for an account in another name. The only thing I can suggest is to PM an admin, but though I can't speak for current admins, my guess would be they'll need to hear from the account actually to be deleted before acting on it, if it is about another account. I certainly would have.
I would also guess that while they may remove the account, they probably won't remove posts made by it for the simple reason that doing so can affect posts made by other members. But that's just my view.
