    Upgrade ryzen master

I'm having trouble with ryzen master, and AMD support have given up / washed their hands of the matter - do you guys have any ideas?

The version of ryzen master I had didn't support my new chip, so I got the most up to date version from the AMD site and tried to install it. It gave an error, "a newer version is already installed". I tried uninstalling it through windows, and that gave the same error (as in, it refused to uninstall as "a newer version was already present"). I googled it, and the AMD support forum said to use the windows troubleshooter - tried that, no errors came up when I used it, but then trying to reinstall the later version gave the same error. I've deleted every file from the c: drive with ryzen master in the name, and still no luck. The "support" from AMD went like this:

Me: I've tried to uninstall ryzen master with the windows uninstall troubleshooter, and it didn't work. What do I do next?
AMD: use the windows uninstall troubleshooter
Me: that didn't work, what should I do?
    10 days later:
Me: how do I uninstall this?
AMD: use the windows uninstall troubleshooter
Me: like I said every other time, that didn't work
AMD: wipe the AMD folder (with all the chipset drivers), or reinstall windows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Would there be something like a registry key hidden somewhere that AMD have been using to track ryzen master versions?

I had the same problem with Ryzen Master and this application removed it completely and allowed me to install the newest version.

If there is, you could use ccleaner?
