hi all ,
my comp has picked up the home search assistant.
its a web hijacker with pop ups and .exe writing that slows stuff down.
im constantly deleting with norton and adaware and some other spyware stuff. but it keeps coming back instantly.
i found a HSREMOVE tool that says its deleted it , i ran it in safe mode like it said but upon reboot it was still there.
is this a new version or am i doing something wrong?
the manual fix i have read thru is beyond me.

anyone been thru this or know anything?
