    Firefox and .PDF insanity... grrr

Following on from Rys and his nasty Flash problem, does anyone have a problem when they try to load PDF's in FF?

My system hangs and the FF window goes white and I have to wait up to 3 minutes before any activity and the PDF finally loads.

    Really really annoying...

I find that it seems to wait untill the whole file has dled before loading Adobe fully.

I normally save them first then open them in the standalone reader

Yeh I have resorted to doing that but it is a pain in the bum when you just want to look at something quickly.

I'll grab an update and see what happens. I never even realised a newer version was out.

I only knew as our lab machines got it from a centrally updated GP at work.

Just have to save to disk and then open.

Well the update seems to have fixed my problem, for now at least. Hmmm dunno what could be causing your problems.

Go into and Adobe Reader and go to Help>Check for updates now. See if there is anything you can grab (a patch?) which may solve your problem...

EDIT: Just found out there are 7.01 and 7.02 patches which may help you guys...
