Command Prompt Commands

I have a question. I have to reset my router, and there are a couple commands I need to know. One is ipconfig, which I got, then there was one to release the ip address, and one to renew it. Can anyone help me out on what those are? Thanks a lot.

ipconfig /all shows all the details of your current network config

ipconfig /release releases your IP address

ipconfig /renew obtains an address from your DHCP server

You can also do the same thing from the gui, right click repair will release, although it will renew it immediatly or at least try to, it doesnt time out for about 5 years if theres nothing there.
