Has anyone EVER had any sucess in using the little keypad accessory in a game? I can't. But perhaps I am stupid. If so, help me!

i assume you have installed the drivers for it , and i'm not sure but you may have to configure it using the saitek software if you cant configure with the game itself?

Yeah I think the trick is to bind the keys from the game to the corresponding button on the pad using the software - not vice-versa.

I can get it to work everytime.

First of i can never find specific drivers for it - so i download the sst software designed for another device and install that. At this point it should detect the gamer keyboard and install it along with various HID compliant stuff.

Then - u should have the little gamepad icon in the system tray - open that up and you see you get to assign a key to a button on the gamepad.

Once you assign your keys you need to save the profile somewhere. Otherwise you will have to redo them each time.

The important thing to then do is within the sst software click the profile now icon. If you dont click that - the buttons wont be assigned.

Stuff should then start to work properly.

oh there is another thing - sometimes you get an error (think its windows hotfix related) when trying to install the drivers / configure the controller. If you get any weird messages you need to install a seperate driver update or sometthing. I have this at home so if you need to - msn me - kip@evilmunky.com
