    Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe

    Hey all

Well I've been playing along on my a8n-sli deluxe mobo for some time now with no problems but im thinking of updating the mobo drivers. Now this is a bit of a noob question but are there any dangers of doing so?!? Any gotchas that I should look out for or is it a straightforward affair?

straight forward I'm told. its actually hard to mess it up - flashin' was tricky some time ago but theres nothing much to it anymore.

This reminds me I need to flash soon as well - ooh er.

Unless you have no hands, then you might find it difficult. If you have all limbs on the other hand then theres no risk

Just download the official latest drivers from the manufacturer site and install.

It should be very easy and run smoothly without any problems.

    Good Luck.

He's talking mobo DRIVERS not Bios flashing.

I would only flash my BIOS if something was wrong, or I needed a new feature of the new BIOS. While it's not as hard as it used to be, if something goes wrong it can be a huge pain to get back up again. I had to order a BIOS chip for a mobo when a flash went bad once. It sucked. I would leave the BIOS alone unless you absolutely need a new update in the new BIOS.

    I am indeed sir.

Thanks for the replies gents, it all went according to plan. Not bad for a man with paper bag hands, bent tablespoons for fingers and a stacatto wink
