Just re-installed windows and it seems to think that my Sata Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 is a removable drive, so I get the little icon on the taskbar. WHY?! I can't find any drivers or anything, and it's my boot drive.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Some SATA drives are classed as removeable, maybe due to the latest Drivers.
Try rolling back?
Remember that some SATA drives are external.

Yeah but it didn't used to think that, before I reinstalled. I was on the 64 bit edition before though, now I'm on Pro with SP.1. And I can't find ANY drivers, at all.
Aren't some SATA controllers hot-swapable? Could it be that because you're using PRO, it might think that you'd want to be able to hotswap SATA drives? Something like that maybe?
I wish it wouldn't think.
I'll try SP2 and see if that helps. It's not really a problem, I'd just rather not have the icon there when I don't need it there.
