    Disabling Norton AV 2005?

Basically I have a small program which is being misidentified as a generic trojan. I know for a fact this is NOT a trojan, so naturally I want to prevent Norton 2005 from automatically deleting it. However, this executable is in a rar file, and every time I extract it, it gets deleted. When I go into the options of Norton 2005, and go to select exclusions, I obviously can't select the executable as its still compressed.

    Anyone know what to do?
