    Speed throttling on Samsung x20

I've had my Samsung x20 for nearly a week now, and I'm really pleased with it. The only issue I'm having is that the CPU doesn't seem to get up to full speed when on mains power. It ticks along nicely at 400MHz on battery, but doesn't go up to the full 1.6GHz on mains.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Update: disabling Intel speedstep and CPU powersaving in the BIOS only results in a jump to 800MHz. This is still on battery, am I missing a Windows option?

    bumpage...

I'm now charging this laptop and have the profile set as home/desktop and it will still only go up to 800MHz. Would it go higher depending on demand, or is there a way to force 1.6GHz out of it?
