Unhappy mail Runtime error after virus removal! need help please!

    Hi guys!
i need help, as im a bit out of my depth on this one.
a good friend of mine was infected with a virus, and i removed it.
    the virus was W32.Spybot.FCD.
part of the removal involved booting into safemode to run minimal services, and then editing the registery, removing refrences to a file that the virus uses.

    # HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
    RunServices
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\OLE
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa

    # In the right pane, delete the value:

    "MsWindows SysDate" = "sysmsvc.exe"

    which i did.
now when ever she goes into hotmail she gets a error message saying:
    A Runtime Error has occoured.
    Do you wish to debug?
    Line:1
    Error: syntax error

and then a prompt to press yes or no.
do any of you guys no what might now be missing, or what i may have done, or what may have caused this issue.
she relies very much on her hotmail account and i want to resolve this for her.
    any help would be apppreciated.
    manythanks!
