My AN8 ultra didn't like the Corsair 4400 I gave it! Replaced this with some Geil 4400 and no probs!

Well I've always found Geil very compatable with almost everything, I believe there are a number of people with Gskill & ocz with AN8 boards

Well I can confirm that Patriot XBLK works brilliantly in my AN8 Ultra, I have a 2gig set of OCZ Gold PC4000 arriving tomorrow or Tues. I'll be selling one or the other so maybe we should talk later in the week

I wouldn't say that they are well documented.
Some people have had problems with certain Corsair & the default timings with manual tweaking apparently helping.
windog had problems with his but there is at least 1 guy on the ABIT forum with the exact same RAM as he had who is happy with it after tweaking.

XL seems OK with C2 being more problematic (probably a lot more of it about) but there have been so many revs. of 3200C2 using different modules ...

2Gb OCZ Platinum PC3200 works fine for me.

I tried some Geil ultra before the OCZ and that worked ok, but wouldn't clock very well.
