    Unhappy How to get into a IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0A

    Hey everyone

    Problem ::
    I own a IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0A , and it comited suicide by jumpin of my desk on to the woden floor that lies beneeth... like .. floors do.

    my mouse was fine.. or so i thought, for when i was playing a game... it died , but kept comin back to life, i took it out the ps2 port, and tryd it in the usb port, i then played a game again, and could hear that Ding dong.. Dong ding, sound as if i was taken a usb device out and puting it back in.

    it would be fine for a few mins, then do it again, sometimes it would take a 30 secs to pick it up again, and sometimes i had to just pull it out the usb port and stick it back in.

    Its probably just a wire come un solderd or something, but theres no screws to undo to get into it, has anyone out there been able to get into one of these without a hammer lol ?

    If i cant repair it, its like £15 down the drain, and overclockers are sold out atm, everywhere else i've lookd its £20 and over.

    Thanks in advance for anyone who can help in anyway.
    Tizz.

    ahh yeah i actualy orderd a v3 origanaly , then the 4.0 came instead lol,

    I didnt like it at first, but found the pick up was so accurate i kept it, the design i found to be very erganomic too after a few days , the scroll whell is weird as its so smooth, but ive never used that to switch weapons, always use keybord... i play cs mainly so only 1-4 to worry about and even then i use Q to fast switch between the pistol and main gun..

    I may contact ms, as thos sticky feet wont come off easily and also replacement ones are gonna cost like £6 or 7 with delivery lol .
