    Sanyo Projector PLC-SW30

I have a sanyo projector that has a purple and yellowy display round the corners..
The manual and the sanyo web site both say that dust has got onto the optical elements which has degraded the picture quality.
They can be cleaned by a sanyo technician but i would like to know how to!
How is this done and where should i be looking for these lcd panels???
    any help appriciated!!!

The image produced by my Sanyo projector has purple or magenta dots/spots on the image/screen. What is it? And how is it corrected?
Purple or Magenta dots are the result of dust or dirt particles that have settled on the green panel in the projector. The solution is to clean the green LCD panel, this should be done by an authorized technician. Please call (888) 337-1215 for assistance. Regular maintenance of the air filter will reduce this problem.

TRy an air duster - I wouldn't try moving the panels or using a solvent - you could upset the optical alignement/damage any optical coating on them...

if its hazy around the ages in a spherical pattern, it might be because the bulb is on its last legs.

But as someone has said air duster is the best bet.

Lamp, reflector, and any lenses or filters on the optical path.
