Ive not had much trouble with CityLink. Either from OCUK or Flecktarn.co.uk

I try not to buy stuff from OCUK if I can find it elsewhere. But the forums are a joke, I mean Spie and his band of dons think they are part of something special and that we are there only to me moderated. One toe out of line and blammo: perma banned without warning! Your thread/posts can be deleted with no reason whatsoever, ok fair enough if a rule was being broken but they dont tell you what! The people that actually stand up to it and make a thread about it to complain, gets banned. Also other people who feel the same way and post in said threads are banned too. HEXUS is a banned term, enough said tbh... how childish!
Ill probs be banned now I dont care really as the only place I post is in the PC Games section.

I got that .rar a few months ago - made for some interesting/amusing reading.

I do however still use the forums a lot as the photography section is pretty good as is motors.

If however I join the digitaldarkroom site (set up by banned OcUK Dons) then I might not have much reason to stick around on OcUK.


Not used the shop in ages because the pricing is pretty poor now, but when I used it a fair bit about 18-20 months ago I never had a problem.

Perhaps the funniest part of the don's forum is the posts where someone finds a website slating OcUK. Spie comes along with some cryptic comment like "I'm on it" and everyone high-fives eachother but then you follow the original link and it's still there 2 years later

the world has a way of evening things out, with the business practices of ocuk, coupled with the wayward spending of proudfoot, they wont be around in 5 years time, it does always amaze me why people are still prepared to buy from them, when there are so many other great retailers offering the same products for better prices.

You can goto scan, get free delivery, get a great service, and if something goes wrong you can post on hexus and get a straight answer, or you can goto Kustom pc's and get a superb personalised service. On the other hand, you can hand money to a racist and sexist owner, further boosting his already inflated ego.

Totally agree my freind, and i hope your right. There are lots of awesome retailers out there, CPUCity, and Chillblast are 2 of my favourite as well, ive used all the big one's.

OCUK do have decent stock, but there prices are mostly aweful, and well we all know the other stuff about them.

I try my hardest, not to shop there. 99% of the time i don't, because there prices suck.
