Advice On Saving Settings On A Clean Install Ps

Hi after getting infected with a virus and losing all my security settings (which i cannot reset) can you ps tell me the best way to save all my windows settings/Drivers & prog settings etc?
Ps i do not know want to do a slipstream...Too hard Also i have 2 Harddrives (xp on c drive) if i do a reformat will i lose the data off of the other

No you wont loose the data off the other.

As for keeping tghe setting try a repair first but I find it best just to do clean install - if overclocked in anyway always best to go back to stock also for an install.

As long as you dont format the non windows drive you should be fine mind you.

Cheers! I did the clean install but still managed to loose all my settings Anyway got to be secured all over again! Any advice on what i should disable & keep enabled
Ps i am a 1 pc house with a Router (DG834) with XP Home
